What is the Clutch?

Clutch performances in sports is the phenomenon of athletes under pressure, or in 'the clutch' to perform in order to change the outcome of the game. In the NBA, clutch time is defined as when the game has a score differential of five points, and the game has less than five minutes remaining.

The 2013-2014 Knicks

The 2013-2014 Knicks finished the season with a 37-45 record, just one game shy of making it to the NBA playoffs. While it was not the greatest Knicks team assembled, this team accomplished a lot over this season, including finishing third place in the Atlantic division. Some of the most notable feats include Carmelo Anthony's historic 62 point game against the Charlotte Bobcats.

While the Knicks might not have had the best NBA record, finishing 9th in the Eastern Conference, we can still deduce how clutch the team was as a whole.
