Vision

Welcome to Sustainable Materials Research Team (SMaRT) at Keimyung University. Our research focuses on designing and developing biodegradable/compostable packaging materials and sustainable polymer blends, composites, and their modifications, understanding structure-property relationship of polymers, developing polymer processing and recycling methods. Our vision is to develop sustainable materials and packaging system to make the better quality of our life with the better materials.

Education

Provide sufficient interdisciplinary information about recent engineering trend, and give not only a fundamental lecture for key subject in chemical engineering, but technical trend, creative thinking way, real world issue analysis as well to students enabling them have a competitiveness in problem solving. The purpose of this approach is to lower the barrier between industry and academia, and finally help students find who they are and what they really want to be after graduations.
