Direct Donations

Dear Kennedy Parents/Guardians,

Direct Donations Needed!

Each year, the PTO hopes to provide a consistent level of support to our students and staff by sponsoring programs and activities that will enhance the educational experience of ALL of our students. These include:

- Assemblies celebrating cultural arts - in the past we have had: Living Voices, Ball in the House, Capoeira, Tales from Africa

- Events such as Glow Night, Trivia Night, KMS Takes over the Beach House

- Scholarships for NHS seniors who are KMS alumni

- Mini Enrichment grants to staff

- Snacks, coffees and a luncheon for staff and teachers

To accomplish all this, the PTO depends on fundraising and private donations from you. Our goal is to have 100% participation from our Kennedy community to raise $20,000 for the 2023-2024 school year. In the past we’ve had fewer than 15% of families give through direct donations with an average donation of $80. We ask that you contribute at your comfort level, whether it be $10 or $100. Instead of receiving multiple fundraising requests throughout the year, a direct donation allows you to contribute once and be done!
