Begin to gather materials for applications - letters of recommendation (if required by a college or scholarship), etc
Begin applying for scholarships
Register for/take the ACT or SAT
Meet with your counselor about your graduation progress/make sure your senior schedule includes everything you need to graduate. We’re here to help with your post-secondary plans!
Start sending college applications
Tour (virtually or in-person) programs/schools of interest.

Reach out to your support network if you hit a “Senior Slump.” Colleges can rescind offers if your semester 2 grades drop
Men 18 years or older must register for the Selective Service in order to receive federal financial aid
FAFSA opens on December 1.
Apply for financial aid early!
Evaluate your post-secondary options - notify schools you will not be attending
Graduation June 1
Consider summer job opportunities
Attend Freshman Orientation at your new school
Buy things you need for college gradually over the summer to avoid last minute purchases

Need a letter of recommendation for a scholarship or college? Please review these materials and make an appointment to visit with your counselor (with the completed items) at least two weeks before you need the letter of recommendation.
