Does anyone know how to remove, or relocate whilst onscreen, the on screen display (OSD) in kmplayer, that is kmplayer 0.10.0c, which is the frontend for mplayer, for KDE 3.5.10 rel 21.12.1.

I find the OSD white boxes very annoying when changing volume and skipping backwards or fordwards, gets in the way of what I am viewing.

I noticed that after upgrading to 3.1.3, kmplayer and ffdshow aren't reporting the correct framerate when svp is running, rather they report the framerate of the file. I know that 3.1.2 everything was fine. Is this a bug or normal for 3.1.3?
