The 21th International Conference on Multimedia Information Technology and Applications (MITA) has been the leading multimedia and information system conference for the past two decades. Through the KMMS societies, the conference serves as a forum to promote the latest advances in multimedia technologies, systems, and applications from both research and development perspectives.
MITA attracts well over 150 submissions and 200 participants each year, serving as the prime forum for the dissemination of knowledge in the multimedia and information field. MITA 2024 will showcase high quality oral and poster presentations sponsored by the Korea Multimedia Society (KMMS). Researchers, developers and practitioners are welcomed to submit any new or emerging results of Multimedia technology and intelligent IoT system which will be focused on. In MITA 2024, exceptional papers and contributors will be also selected and recognized with prestigious awards. Original research papers on all aspects of the theories and applications of multimedia information technology are solicited for submission to MITA 2024, which is organized and sponsored by the Korea Multimedia Society (KMMS).
※In particular, starting at MITA2025, the International Workshop on Complex Communication and Multimedia Sciences (CCMS) will be held in collaboration with the Nonlinear Theory And Its Applications (NOLTA) Society in Japan. The Korean and Japanese organizing committees are committed to further expanding the existing Korea-Japan (Japan-Korea) Complex Communication Sciences and growing it from a joint workshop between Korea and Japan to an international Workshop.
We look forward to your interest in the new CCMS workshop starting this year.
※ At MITA2025, we are partnering with the Chinese Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Society (IPPR), the largest multimedia-related society in Taiwan, to host the workshop on Smart Inspection System (WSIS2025). We look forward to maintaining active cooperation with the IPPR Society in Taiwan, and together with the NOLTA Society in Japan, to create positive synergies for the development of multimedia academia in Asia.
