How to reach the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic?

 Since there are very few flights to the Ostrava local airport, we recommend you to arrive at Vienna Airport in Austria or Prague Airport in the Czech Republic if possible. To these airports, there are several direct flights now.

From Prague or Vienna to Ostrava city (Conference site), you can take the following ways:

-   From Prague to Ostrava city, it takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes by car or 3 hours 25 minutes by train.

-   From Vienna to Ostrava city, it takes about 3 hours and 10 minutes by car or 2 hours 50 minutes by train.

You can set Departure: Wien Hbf, Arrival: Ostrava Svinov in connection search. From Ostrava Svinov station to the Garni hotel in the university, you can take the shuttle (city) buses.
