Join us at the 19th International Conference on Multimedia Information Technology and Applications coming to the beautiful Ostrava, Czech Republic from July 11 to 14, 2023

The 19th International Conference on Multimedia Information Technology and Applications (MITA) has been the leading multimedia and information system conference for the past two decades. Through the KMMS societies, the Conference serves as a forum to promote the latest advances in multimedia technologies, systems, and applications from both a research and development perspective.

 

MITA attracts well over 150 submissions and 200 participants each year, serving as the prime forum for the dissemination of knowledge in the multimedia and information field. MITA 2023 will showcase high quality oral and poster presentations sponsored by the Korea Multimedia Society (KMMS). Researchers, developers and practitioners are welcomed to submit any new or emerging results of Multimedia technology and intelligent IoT system which will be focused on. In MITA 2023, exceptional papers and contributors will be also selected and recognized with prestigious awards. Original research papers on all aspects of the theories and applications of multimedia information technology are solicited for submission to MITA 2023, which is organized and sponsored by the Korea Multimedia Society (KMMS) and VSB-Technical University of Ostrava


The selected papers will be recommended to submit their extended version to the SCIE and Scopus journals in the followings:

-       Special Issue “Graph Representation Learning for Feature Extraction and Signal Processing”

-       Special Issue "Advanced Theories and Applications of Multimedia Information Technology (Invited Papers from MITA 2023)" (Electronics, IF=2.690)

-       Special Issue “Low Power Architectures for Digital Video and Image Compression” (Electronics, IF=2.690)

-       Special Issue “Sensors and Sensing Technologies for Vision and Perception in Virtual Environments” (Sensors, pending, IF=3.847)

-       Special Issue “Computer-Aided Diagnosis Systems for Cancer” (Current Medical Imaging, IF=1.288)

  More issues can be added as they are going on.

About Ostrava

  Ostrava is the capital of the northeastern Czech state of Moravaslesko, which forms the border between Silesia and Moravia. It is located on the coast of the Oder River. It has a population of 289,450 as of 2019, and is the third largest city in the Czech Republic after Prague and Brno. In the past, it was a major industrial city, but after the Velvet Revolution in 1989, it has grown into a cultural city.
