II. KMEA Scoring System

Section II. Estimated Completion Time—30 Minutes

The second section of Module 1 deals with the KMEA scoring system. This system is based on nationally accepted concepts and includes Criteria Reference, Derived Achievement, Numbers Management and Judge Commentary. These sections are all designed to be brief with basic level information. Opportunities exist for further study of all components; however, the hope is that this training will provide a foundation. Included in this section is an activity, quiz #2, and examples of judges' recordings to study.
