This night, our Pack has some scouts who have worked very hard since joining Cub Scouts. The scouts and their parents will come forward to take on the colors and spirit of Cub Scouting?
*As each color is presented, the parent will paint their scout's face.
BLUE
is from the sky. The paw print of the Bobcat on your forehead is the spirit of the Bobcat. This reminds you to do your best on the Cub Scout Trail.
YELLOW
is from the sun. The marks under your eyes will help you see the light of the Cub Scout trail and they symbolize the bright spirit of Cub Scouting.
WHITE
is for purity. The mark on your nose helps you know right from wrong as you go along the Cub Scout trail.
RED
is for courage. The mark on your chin reminds you to always speak the truth.
GREEN
stands for the spirit of nature. The marks on each cheek will guide you to live in harmony with the great outdoors.
**The parents will then hand the paint to the scouts, the scouts will then paint their parents nose with a white stripe. The scouts love this part.
again WHITE is for Love and guidance, the parents are always with you in your heart and in your spirit. They will always do the right thing and will help you achieve all your Scout goals and keep you on the track of life until you are a man and can soar with the Eagles.

A tour of the romantic city of Heidelberg, quietly nestled on the Neckar River, presents
a unique opportunity to Boy Scouts of the Transatlantic Council for several reasons.
Heidelberg, as the once established capital of the palatinate, exerted great influence
over the political affairs and history of Central Europe. Americans living in Europe and
American visitors to Germany feel a special affinity to Heidelberg; an affinity nurtured
through a relatively simple yet, totally loved story of a “Student Prince.” Finally, it is one
of several historic trails available to Boy and Cub Scouts in Europe.
