I've worked as a Lead Teaching Artist in for theaters/arts organizations across the tri-state area. Much of my work has been in the classroom, working in at-risk schools with low literacy rates. I've partnered with classroom teachers, using theater to enhance core curriculum study, build literacy, and explore STEM subjects from pre-school through high school students. I've also directed/taught in several studio programs and summer intensives for children and youth.
Original script written by 7th grade students taking part in George St. Playhouse/Bank of America's Drama Across the Curriculum program, created to enhance student engagement and education in topics surrounding the Holocaust. I was in residence in their Language Arts classroom for 2 months, we met twice a week to write and stage an original play with music.
