Currently my primary focus, my dissertation research poses the site of waste incineration in the City of Tampa as a critical socionatural conjuncture in the production of nature.
This is a qualitative project that leverages a synthesis of Actor-Network Theory, assemblage thinking and a critical political economy approach to engage the complex social history of an incineration-based waste regime. This project is about six months away from garnering material suitable for publication.
