Our high-quality shows at Kentlake don't happen without lots of effort offstage. And we know that parents and families want to show their support for their students by helping out all they can.
There are lots of different ways to help. All families are welcome to sign up for volunteer opportunities.
Parents can volunteer to assist during the shows, either front-of-house or behind the scenes. Or you can help by providing meals. Rehearsals are long, and teenagers are hungry. Greenroom snacks, meals during long rehearsals, lunches during weekend tech work days, or even a contribution to between-show meals after our matinee performances are all important.
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE APPROVED THROUGH THE KENT SCHOOL DISTRICT'S SYSTEM. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PROVIDE AN ACTIVE VOLUNTEER DATE, AS WE ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK EVERYONE'S VOLUNTEER STATUS WITH THS ADMINISTRATORS.
IN ADDITION, all volunteers will be asked to review and sign a volunteer contract illustrating the responsibility and expectations of the role. You'll receive said contract from Mrs. Blair following your sign-up.
