You need to register with UCAS and complete the relevant application – there’s quite a lot to fill in but you don’t have to do it all at once. Remember the school's Buzz word KLS2024
Different courses have different application deadlines – check out the when to apply page for more information.
Before you can send your application, you'll need to pay an application fee of £27.50
£27.50 for your application
Once you have sent your application and received your welcome email, you can see how it's progressing by signing in to UCAS online system, Track. Track your application, how it works
If you decide to delay your studies you can still apply now and defer your start date by a year.
This way you can get your results confirmed and hopefully receive an unconditional offer for the following year.
If you're applying in the 2024 cycle for deferred entry in 2025, you need to meet offer conditions by 31st August 2023. However, make sure you check with the university that they're happy to consider an application for deferred entry - otherwise your choice might be wasted.
Make sure you’re sure about the course though, because if you secure a place you’ll be committed to it, and could only be released from the course if the course provider agrees to let you.
Entry requirements vary between universities and colleges – a full list of universities and colleges and their minimum entry criteria can be found in the UCAS search tool. If you are unsure you meet a university/college's criteria, it is best to contact their admissions team for further guidance.
The UCAS Tariff is a way of allocating points to qualifications. Not all qualifications attract UCAS Tariff points for various reasons. The university or college you're interested in may accept your qualifications as an appropriate entry route, even if they don't attract UCAS Tariff points.
