Welcome!

My name is Klint Shim. I am a PhD student in philosophy at Yale University. Before Yale, I completed my B.A. at Swarthmore College.

I was also a fellow at the Center for Social Critique (sponsor: Rahel Jaeggi) in Berlin and the Center for Post-Kantian Philosophy in Potsdam. 

I primarily work on modern European philosophy (esp. Spinoza, Hegel, German Idealism), social & political philosophy, and metaphysics. 

Outside of philosophy, I am a European football fan, a lover of the 19th-century British/Russian literature, and an avid dabbler in classical music (currently in the Mahler phase).
