This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Application refers to KLink Player, the software program provided by the Company.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Privacy Policy) refers to KLink Player.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cell phone or a digital tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Application.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Locally Stored Data
KLink Player does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with external servers. All links and titles entered or saved by You are stored exclusively on Your Device using Android's local storage (SharedPreferences) and never leave Your Device.
Network Connections
When You play a video link, the Application connects directly to the address You provide. These connections are initiated entirely by You and may include Your IP address as part of standard HTTP/HTTPS communication. The Company has no access to, and does not log, any of these connections.
Usage Data
The Application does not collect usage data, crash reports, analytics, or any diagnostic data on its own servers.
Advertising
The Application uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain information from Your Device, including the Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier), IP address, and general device information, to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on Your settings and applicable privacy laws.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or other regions subject to consent requirements, the Application will request Your consent before serving personalized ads. You may withdraw or modify Your consent at any time through Your device settings.
Google's use of advertising data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting: https://www.google.com/settings/ads
Since the Application stores data only locally on Your Device, You have full control over retention at all times:
Saved links and titles — retained on Your Device until You delete them individually or use the "Clear all" function within the Application.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time directly from within the Application using the "Clear all" button. Uninstalling the Application will also permanently remove all locally stored data from Your Device.
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us. Since the Application does not transmit personal data to any server, the risk of data breach is minimal. Video links you play are transmitted over the network protocols You choose (HTTP, HTTPS, RTMP, RTSP). We strongly recommend using HTTPS links whenever possible for encrypted communication.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 16. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us and We will take steps to remove that information.
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
Comply with a legal obligation
Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company
Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public
Protect against legal liability
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
