Summer 2026 - our first season without a commercial harvest of Klicker Strawberries.  Yet...we plan on having a very limited  Encore Crew (10-12 of our most experienced, productive pickers) to harvest the remaining scant acreage of our final fields.

We will be supplying only the Walla Walla Klicker Berries & Antiques Store with fresh-picked flats.  There will be no fresh buckets during the harvest season.  As the Klicker Store is a separate business (same family tree; different branch), please contact the Klicker Store directly for pricing and availability questions.  Their phone number is 509-525-8650.

Typically, fresh strawberries are ready the first week of June.  Weather, weather and weather will determine actual readiness.

In addition, we will not be delivering out of town, hiring new employees or selling strawberry plants.

Yes, It is time.  time for us, Kirk and Nancy, to discontinue the commercial strawberry chapter of our story.  Imparting a positive impact in the lives of area youth has been our driving business goal.  Growing strawberries provided us the instrument to achieve that goal.  Now our model of raising youth using strawberries is out of tune. Navigating government regulations and procuring timely strawberry varieties to accommodate fluctuating calendars has proved to be financially unsustainable for our business model.  Taking into consideration that we are in our mid/late 60's, re-tuning our business to be viable, is not for us.

It has been an honor to work with youth for 44 of the 107 years Klickers have been in the strawberry business.  We are richer for the opportunity to be a few paragraphs in the treasured lives of the thousands of youth who have come through our door to be a Klicker Picker.

Thank YOU, our employees, customers and vendors, who have become our friends.  Thank you for the laughter and sweet memories.  Our hearts are happy and full.
