THE FARM

Klein Barmen is an historical farm located 25km west of Okahandja, just one and a half hour from Windhoek International Airport. The farm history goes back to the 19th century, once part of an important cattle farm, today is a beautiful farm dedicated to hunting and photo safaris alike. The farm is about 8.000 ha, several rivers, including the Swakop River bordering the farm and bringing water during the rainy season. The landscape is the typical African bush and is slightly hilly, with many “kopies” from where you can have a great view of the Farm.

HOT WATER SPRINGS

Inside the Farm, few hundred meters from the Lodge, there is a hot water natural spring, the same water running in the well known Resort and Spa called “Gross Barmen”.

THE LODGE

The Lodge has 4 luxuriously furnished double rooms decorated in typical African style, every room has its own bathroom. One more bedroom, also with private bathroom, is available in a separate section of the lodge. A large common lounge bar area on the first floor is the ideal spot to enjoy a drink and watch TV. The great patio, covered with the traditional thatch roof, is our dining room, with a large grill where our own game meat is cooked daily. The patio overlooks a small lake, where animals drink throughout day and night.

The swimming pool is the best places to relax after a safari day in the bush. The lodge is fully endowed of electricity, cable TV, WiFi connection and daily laundry for no additional charge.
