Prof. Park received a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Chungbuk National University and an MS & PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), respectively. During PhD from 2003 to 2008, his research focused on the epitaxial growth of GaN-based nanostructures for light-emitting diodes applications. From 2008 to 2009, he worked as a postdoc researcher at the Center for Quantum Devices at Northwestern University. After a postdoc course, he joined the Department of Electronics at Yeungnam University in 2015. In 2015, he joined the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Seoul National University of Science and Technology. His current research focused on fabricating organic and inorganic material-based hybrid nanostructures for novel optoelectronic devices such as light-emitting diodes, solar cells, photodetectors, and nanogenerators based on piezoelectric and triboelectric mechanisms.
