I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Scholars, Dhaka, Bangladesh. After completing my Master’s degree in the Russian Federation nearly two decades ago, I went on to earn my first Ph.D. in Business Management from India. That academic journey, along with years of research and publishing, shaped my deep interest in higher education and motivated me to pursue a second Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at The University of Alabama.
During my first Ph.D. in India, the outbreak of COVID-19 significantly influenced my research path. The pandemic revealed the urgent challenges faced by students and faculty in Bangladesh’s higher education sector—particularly the lack of access to resources for online learning and the struggle of educators to adapt to digital platforms. These experiences inspired my dissertation on “Behavioral Intention of Students Towards Online Learning: Ensuring Learning Continuity in the Higher Education Sector of Bangladesh.”
I am honored to have been awarded the Capstone Graduate Council Fellowship at The University of Alabama to support my second Ph.D. journey. Alongside my academic aspirations, this is also a meaningful personal milestone, as my son has received a scholarship to begin his freshman year in Business Cyber Security at the Culverhouse College of Business, The University of Alabama (Fall 2025). This shared experience makes the journey even more special.
