To register as a donor, requester, we collect:

• Full Name

• Mobile Number

• Address

• Nearby City / Locality

• Blood Group

• Last Blood Donation Date

• Age

• Gender

Why we collect this:

• To match blood donors with nearby recipients

• To show relevant donor availability

• To verify eligibility (age, last donation date)

• To display correct blood group compatibility

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the data for:

✔ Providing Core Blood-Donation Features

• Showing nearby donors

• Matching donors based on blood group and distance

• Allowing donors to be contacted during emergencies

• Verifying eligibility based on last donation date

✔ Communication

• Sending alerts about donation requests

• Sending emergency notifications

We never show donor phone numbers, names, or personal information to requesters unless the donor chooses to accept the request.

This ensures full control, privacy, and safety for all donors on the platform. 

5. Sensitive Data (Blood Group & Health Information)

Your blood group and last donation date are considered sensitive health-related data.
We collect this only to enable accurate donor matching.

We ensure:

• Explicit user consent is required

• Data is encrypted during storage and transmission

• Only relevant users (donors/requesters) can view minimal required information

We share information only in these circumstances:

A. With Other Users (Limited)

When someone searches for donors, they may see:

• Your name

• Blood group

• Nearby location

• Contact number (only if you allow it)

We show only what is necessary to connect donors with recipients.
We never sell your data for advertising.

We take strong measures to protect your information:

• Encrypted databases

• Secure servers

• Limited access to authorized staff

• HTTPS enforced for all API calls
