Dr. Kawnish Kirtania is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He earned his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). After that, he received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Monash University, Australia in 2014. Following his PhD, he was involved in demonstration of catalytic gasification of biomass in pilot scale at Lulea University of Technology, Sweden.
Dr. Kawnish Kirtania is involved in a number of funded by USAID, NASEM (USA), EPRC (BD), BANBEIS (BD) and Unilever (BD). He has contributed to more than 80 scientific publications including over 45 scientific papers in international peer reviewed journals with two book chapters (Elsevier) and several conference contributions. He has been also serving as a reviewer for 17 international journals
