English 1102

Hello, thank you for visiting my site. My name is Krysten Hicks and I am in Dr. McGinnis' English 1102 class. Here you will find the projects that I have worked on throughout the course of this semester. I hope you enjoy my portfolio.

I have an eighteen year old daughter, Izabella, who is about to graduate high school. I love watching her grow and evolve into the person she'll become. I'm a single mom who works full-time and goes to school full-time, so my plate is extremely full, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My daughter will be starting CCGA in the fall, so that is very exciting. It reminds me of the movie Life of the Party with Melissa McCarthy, without the alcohol consumption. It'll be an adventure for both of us. I hope she'll take Dr. McGinnis' class, as it was very informative and insightful.

I am an animal lover (specifically cats) and adopted two from the Humane Society. I lost one due to liver failure in the middle of this semester; her name was Luna. It was pretty devastating, but I would like to adopt another cat. My three favorites are my daughter Izabella, cats, and sunsets.
