Please make sure you have a flat surface in your car to transport your Kake. Most Kake will fit on the front floor board. Larger Kake (2+ teirs) will need to travel in the back of an SUV. Avoid transporting Kake on a slanted car seat or any area that is not completely flat.
Keep the Kake cool and away from direct sunlight. Do not leave cakes in the car for longer than it takes to arrive to your destination; exposure to heat affects the icing and causes it to breakdown and melt. Do not squeeze the sides of the box because the frosting may stick to the box.
When carrying or transporting your Kake, please place both hands underneath the cake to properly support the Kake and the board. If you will be traveling with your Kake after you take it home, we recommend keeping it refrigerated so the Kake will be firm for travel and of course, drive carefully and avoid slamming your brakes or turning sharply. Please make the appropriate arrangements for transporting a Kake safely or request delivery.
Kakes not being served the day of pickup must be refrigerated. The Kake should be refrigerated for up to 2-3 hours before being served, as Kakes are best served at room temperature. Remove Kake from refrigerator and let sit at room temperature to develop the best flavor and texture. Store leftover cake in refrigerator. Never freeze a fondant cake. Keep cakes away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat, as they may fade or melt.
Kizzy's Kakes is not responsible for the condition of Kakes after the order has been confirmed. Kizzy’s Kakes holds a no refund policy once the order has been received and confirmed.
