A Japanese Canadian living the research dream
I am an astrophysicist stationed at the the Institute for Computational Astrophysics at St. Mary's University, Nova Scotia, Canada, after earning my doctorate at Nagoya University, Japan.
My main research topic in the greater field of Galaxy Evolution is on galaxy interactions and mergers. In particular, I am interested in the relative role of galaxy mergers and their impact on various galaxy evolution processes.Â
I also am interested in data science/machine learning approaches to research.
