Kiyoaki Christopher Omori

A Japanese Canadian living the research dream

About Kiyoaki

I am a postdoc stationed at the Research Center for Space and Cosmic Evolution at Ehime University. I am currently a Research Fellow (PD) for the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.

My main research topic in the greater field of Galaxy Evolution is on galaxy interactions and mergers. In particular, I am interested in the relative role of galaxy mergers and their impact on various galaxy evolution processes.

I also am interested in data science/machine learning approaches to research.
