Our Initiative

Kiwi Zine's goal is to provide a digital platform for members of Generation Z to share their talents and express themselves through a variety of creative forms. We strive to provide a creative outlet for youth from everywhere! We plan to do this by releasing monthly issues with unique themes using your submissions and posting mini Instagram posts for pieces that don't exactly fit the monthly issue theme.

Hey! My name is Karissa and I'm the co-founder of Kiwi Zine. I am an aspiring journalist in grade 10 with a wide variety of passions such as writing, poetry, astrology, public-speaking and so much more! Currently, I am an active member in quite a few clubs and organizations such as my school newspaper, HOSA and DECA. Along with that, I'm also a Catholic Confirmation teacher, choir member and lector at my parish! My favourite thing to do is study astrology and make random playlists on Spotify. My all-time favourite artists are Giveon and Brent Faiyaz!

I'm an ESFP and an enneagram type 9! My zodiac sign is a Taurus and my moon is in Libra :)

Hi, my name is Ashanti and I'm the co-founder of Kiwi Zine! I'm in grade 10 and I'm an aspiring marketing manager. I have several interests in social media management, promotions, graphic design and business in general. I'm part of several clubs and organizations such as DECA, Future of GenZ, and my high school's gender justice committee. Other than business and my extracurriculars, I love to listen to Ricky Montgomery and The Smiths!

I'm an ENFJ and an enneagram type 8! My zodiac sign is cancer the crab :)
