Membership
Kiwanis is an international service organization, and our club is part of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District, in Division 24, which includes Atascadero, Paso Robles, Los Osos/Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo clubs. Kiwanis Club of Atascadero currently has approximately 100 members.
Benefits of Membership
As a member of Kiwanis, you will make many new friends from various sections of the community. You will gain fellowship, information and inspiration from our weekly meetings. Most of all you will gain personal satisfaction by participating in serving and making a difference in the community.
Who is eligible?
Membership in Kiwanis is for men and women of good character and community standing, residing or having interests within our club area. They must be able to attend regular meetings and be able to give time and service to the community.
How to become a member
If you are interested in becoming a member, join us at one of our weekly meetings and meet some of us! If you already know a current member, ask them to be your sponsor. You will need to complete our membership application form online, or download the paper application here and submit it to the club membership coordinator or secretary, along with your membership dues, for approval by the board. After that, we will ask you to complete some new member activities to get you acquainted and actively participating in the club.
Membership Dues
Membership dues are currently $160 per year. They can be paid one quarter, two quarters, or one full year at a time. Dues help to support Kiwanis International, the California/Nevada/Hawaii Division and the general administration of our local club.
The Atascadero Kiwanis Membership application is currently unavailable at this time on the Website.
