Kit grew up in a rather healthy family home, being the most “normal” of her eventual group. Her father would play piano during his spare time and also played cello in a local orchestra. Her mother worked hard as a manager at a chain grocery store, despite her more soft personality. Kit took that on, though, and was a very ambitious individual throughout her life.
While she seemed the good kid, she did have the flaw of being easily riled and would often get into fights at school. Aside from the few fights, she was happiest when she had music—which made her want to pursue a job at the big record shop in town towards the end of high school. While it was well enough, she was a hard worker and wanted to be independent! To add to her savings, she started to self produce CDs and, with the shop owner's blessing, sold them in the shop on days that she worked. They had remixes she made as well as original tracks, most of which were dubstep.
Eventually, she saved enough to move out on her own, much to her mother's apprehension (but would still support her). Having an online friend in Iowa, Kit took the offer to move into her friend's apartment after her friend was on the way out of her own folks' place, giving Kit an easy and quick way to settle in. With her passion for music, she decided to attend the University of North Iowa, geared up and ready to take steps towards a degree in Sound Recording Technology. UNI is where she eventually met Ella Wood—an eccentric girl but a delight to be around, which quickly earned her a title of friend.
While she took classes, she also worked as a waitress at a local 24/7 diner. Yet, if she stayed until after nightfall, it always felt like she was being watched or followed… She thought nothing of it at the time—that is, until she was attacked in the parking deck one night going to her car. Knocked out and taken away to who knows where, she found herself in a windowless room, laying on a blood-stained mattress atop a flimsy bed frame. While unable to see his face, she found herself being attacked, cut on, and bruised up by a sadistic man, only to finish off a night of torment by raping her. Yet... he never killed her. Day after day was the same process of being fed and given bottled water during the day, only to be used and abused again at night. Slowly but surely, Kit started to break piece by piece until she began to find solace in this man. Kit eventually began to develop Stockholm Syndrome and was very slowly allowed freedoms. Once she felt herself becoming closer to him—Zak—she was allowed “upstairs” to live and be with him. In her warped mind, Zak made her feel special knowing she was the only girl to not end up in the bottom of the Mississippi River.
What a surprise she would have the day Ella and her boyfriend, Joey, showed up to meet her...
Kit has a rather fair/pale complexion, amber colored eyes, and always has her hair dyed her favorite shade of light blue. She is usually seen with jeans or capris, her favorite pair of boots, and some kind of cute socks, should they be seen! She tends to wear any kind of t-shirt, since she almost always has on her favorite cat-eared hoodie. She’s not a huge fan of make-up, but will wear it on special occasions going out and sometimes when she’s at work.
Kit is very hard-working and strong-willed, but can be a bit hot-headed. Because of this, she isn’t the absolute best at making friends, but she isn’t straight up mean to every stranger she meets. In fact, she loves helping people when and where she can. She’s just… easily provoked. Music is her world and she almost always has music playing, even if it’s just in the background.
Absolutely is the kind of girl to steal her partner’s hoodie(s).
Hates wearing a bra and will forgo one unless she’s at work or in other professional settings. Because who gives a fuck? It’s more comfortable this way!
While she’s not addicted to nicotine, she does smoke from time to time, especially when she’s stressed.
Likes to challenge dudes at bars who think they can do more shots of whiskey than her. Jokes on them–she’s absolutely a whiskey lovin’ gal! She’s more of a Jack kinda girl than a Jim, though.
She tries to act solid, but she’s easily startled, especially with things like jumpscares in horror movies!

Kit is a survivor with Zak being the killer taken from the same world. So, generally her story will remain the same, save maybe something like not mentioning Ella a lot or other minor things like that.
That being said, there is one major difference and it comes with when they were snatched up by The Entity. Which happens to be in the middle of Kit's torment, briefly after the "room broadcast" has ended (which itself lasted five days). She may have escaped the pan but she landed right into the fire...
With The Entity's interruption, Kit doesn't have as strong of a case of Stockholm Syndrome as she would have in her original story. Little things are there and she is still very easily susceptible for falling into that way of thinking and being manipulated, but she still has enough of her will to rebel against Zak sometimes, especially in trial.
Because most of her physical torment happened during those five days of the broadcast, she still has scars over her thighs, chest, and a few on her stomach. Since those were created before The Fog, they are there to stay, even after coming back from trial without a scratch as per usual. She can be seen rubbing her hand over some of them (through her clothing of course) when she's zoned out in bad memories or generally just anxious.
The first time she was against Zak in a trial, it mentally fucked her up bad. She had night terrors for days straight after. While they've stopped being about her time in The Fog, she will still occasionally have PTSD night terrors--either about someone random or her time with Zak in the Red Room.
As far as "hanging with your rivals" goes; some of the killers may pique her curiosity, but she is most compatible with members of The Legion. She could butt heads with them at times out of trial, but overall they seem to be like-minded enough for her to mesh well with them if she wanted. Sometimes, they even remind her of the kinds of people she would hang out with before all this hell began...
True to her canon personality, she will be self sacrificing at times, even if she knows it will cause her great pain.
The main story will generally stay the same, except Kit was actually born and raised in Ormond and went to the same school as The Legion, so she knew them a bit in passing before graduation.
When she graduated, she immediately moved out to live in Montreal--however, shortly after would be when Zak had kidnapped her. She is not bruised and beaten as bad as she normally would be since there was a raid on Zak's house and she was rescued.
About a year after, she wanted more... solitude to escape what happened to her, so she moved back to Ormond to rent a little studio flat there and get a job as a simple gas station clerk.
This would be when The Legion was still around (but only for one more year, to put things in perspective) and while her store was robbed now and again, nothing happened to her, so she didn't think much of it.
In fact, once she meets Frank, he tells her he was the one who did that, and she doesn't mind--definitely doesn't turn him in.
Speaking of Frank, it's working at the gas station that gives her the chance to connect back (and more) with him. As it stands now, he's the only thing that's helping her stay in that town...
