RULE ONE. COMMUNICATION IS KEY. No, I do not want to hear whether or not an RP is turning you on. I do want to hear if you don't like the direction and RP is going or if you want to change plot points, etc. Always communicate! We can always change something but if you don't tell me anything, I'm going to assume everything is fine and to continue on as we are. Not vibing with the RP at all? No problem! You won't hurt my feelings--just tell me, don't ghost me though.
RULE TWO. PLEASE DO NOT PRESSURE ME. I work full time though my hours vary. Usually I am tired when I get home. Sometimes I make responses at work when it's slow and sometimes I don't. But please do not pressure me for a response. That will just do the opposite as it stresses me out and then I end up putting it further on the back burner because of how stressful it is now. Doing this will not get you a faster response! People, including myself, have lives!
RULE THREE. SMUT IS NOT A NECESSITY. I am 18+ and I do write smut, however I don't think it's necessary for any kind of good RP! But, if we do get into that--well, I used to have kinks listed by yes/maybe/no but I've taken them down to get rid of the clutter on my pages. Honestly, I'm open to discussing preferences and I'm not one to judge!
RULE FOUR. I DO LIKE TO PLAN RPs OUT. At least somewhat. Generally, I like to talk about an RP, what direction we want to take, if there's a basic plot you want, if you want smut scenes yes or no, etc. I rarely just jump into an RP unless we're good friends and even then it rarely happens. So expect a bit of spit-balling before an RP really starts!
RULE FIVE. I AM NOT MY CHARACTER/MUSE. I feel like this should be a given, but knowing the internet, I'm going to state it out. This means I may not agree with the same things my character agrees with. I do not condone what some characters do. I will not act like my characters or think like my characters. Fiction is not equal to reality and vice versa!
RULE SIX. I AM A MULTI-SHIPPER/-VERSER. This means that any and all ships with my muses are in their own little pocket universes, so to speak. Nothing about one thread will leak into the other or vice versa. This also eliminates any form of adultery as well for those muses in relationships (also because I hate cheating even in fiction).
