Area of Research Interest

Exploring the Potential of Microalgae for Sustainable Development: Investigating Secondary Metabolites, Biofuel Production, and Life Cycle Assessment in Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Dr. Kishore's area of research interest lies in exploring the potential of microalgae for sustainable development. Specifically, he is interested in investigating the secondary metabolites of microalgae and their potential applications in various fields. His projects focus on discovering novel compounds from cyanobacteria that can stop mussel spawning, studying the chemical communication involved in this process. He is also studying the interaction of microplastics with microalgae, as well as the use of microalgae for biofuel production in wastewater treatment plants.

Dr. Kishore's research includes isolating microalgae from wastewater and exploring their potential for biofuel production. He is investigating how flue gas can affect the biofuel level and nutrient removal in microalgae, and he is developing recovery processes to optimize the biofuel recovery. Additionally, Dr. Kishore is conducting a life cycle assessment of the entire process to ensure that it is sustainable and has minimal environmental impact.

Overall, Dr. Kishore's research is focused on developing sustainable solutions for energy production and wastewater treatment, using microalgae as a renewable resource. His work is at the forefront of efforts to mitigate climate change and promote sustainable development.
