Kiseok Shin

I am a research fellow in the Department of Macro Agricultural Policy Research at Korea Rural Economic Institute.

I received a Ph.D in Applied and Agricultural Economics from the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Virginia Tech.

I am interested in international trade and environmental economics. I focus on the interplay between trade policy and greenhouse gas emissions.

My thesis contributes to our understanding of how tariffs have shaped emissions embodied in production, trade, and consumption and provides implications to imminent real-world problems.
