I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. Prior to this, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, University of Cyprus. I completed my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, under the supervision of Prof. Debarati Sen. Before that, I completed my Master’s degree in Communication and Signal Processing Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, under the guidance of Prof. Ashraf Hossain. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT).
I worked as a Research Associate at IIT Kharagpur from 2021 to 2024 on a 5G standardization project entitled " Next Generation Wireless Research and Standardization on 5G and Beyond" and Junior Project Assistant at IIT Kharagpur from 2016 to 2018 on the project titled “Development of National Disaster Spectrum (NDS) and Disaster Communication Backbone Architecture (DiCoBA) with Prototype Development.” I have also served as a Lecturer at Bhubaneswar Engineering College (BEC) and the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bhubaneswar, India. My research interests broadly encompass UAV-enabled IoT network design, resource allocation for UAV-assisted networks, and underwater communication networks. I am also actively engaged in standardization activities within organizations such as 3GPP (SA1, SA2, SA6, and RAN3), ITU-T (WG16 and WG20), IEEE, and TSDSI (SGN).
