Kiri does not collect any personal data. The app runs entirely locally on your device.
Kiri does not request internet permission. The published app is technically unable to connect to a network, so nothing you do in it can be sent anywhere. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
As a launcher, Kiri reads the list of apps installed on your device so it can display them on your home screen. That list is only used to draw the screen. It is never stored elsewhere, transmitted, or shared. Uninstalling an app from Kiri simply opens Android's own uninstall dialog.
Everything you set up (pinned apps, hidden apps, renamed apps, your allowed-apps list, your Focus schedules, and your appearance settings) is stored only on your device. No data is sent to an external server.
If you set a PIN to protect Focus mode, it is never stored in readable form. Only a salted cryptographic fingerprint of it is kept on your device, which cannot be turned back into your PIN. This also means the PIN cannot be recovered: if you forget it, reinstalling Kiri clears it, along with your settings.
If you turn on Silence notifications, Kiri switches your device to the alarms-only interruption filter while Focus mode is active, and restores your previous setting when it ends. This uses a permission you grant by hand in the Android settings, and only to change that setting. Kiri does not read your notifications or their contents.
No data is shared with third parties, advertisers, or partners.
