Dr. R. Kiran Kumar Reddy is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Proddatur, where he also serves as the IQAC Coordinator.

He earned his Ph.D. in Vibro-Acoustics from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, under the prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) program. He was the first PMRF Awardee from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Tiruchirappalli.

Dr. Reddy completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), AP-IIIT Kadapa, in 2018, followed by an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design) from KL University.

His research interests include experimental and analytical investigations in structural mechanics and acoustics, with a focus on buckling, vibration, and vibro-acoustic behavior of complex structures such as sandwich and curved panels, as well as smart and functionally graded materials.
