Hello and welcome to my personal website.

I am currently a Visiting Researcher at Newcastle University, UK, where I previously held a fixed-term Lectureship in Mathematical Sciences. I completed postdocs at RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and the Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore, and my PhD in Statistics at IIT Kanpur.

My research develops inference and decision-oriented statistical methodology for stochastic systems operating under accelerated life testing, censoring, and experimental constraints. I focus on problems where standard likelihood-based and asymptotic approximations fail and where reliable inference must be tightly coupled with optimal experimental design and computational feasibility. Methodologically, my work spans frequentist and Bayesian inference, lifetime data analysis, and the design of life-testing experiments, with applications in reliability engineering and statistical quality control.

Outside academia, I like to watch anime and enjoy playing squash, practicing yoga, and wall climbing.
