Sands Secondary is located in a suburban area of Metro Vancouver in North Delta. Sands Secondary has a dynamic student leadership body who strive to promote social responsibility and who are active in helping to develop a global vision. The school motto is “Creating Our Future Today”.

As a small school, Sands Secondary can offer more personal attention and has a comfortable, intimate campus. Sands Secondary has FLEX Time 4 days per week where students control their learning engagement by obtaining further support in courses they select. Sands Secondary offers Advanced Placement courses in Calculus, Psychology, and Art for students who want to take higher level instruction in those areas. Outside of class time, Sands Secondary offers many extra-curricular opportunities that include Athletics, a wide variety of Clubs, Student Council, District Youth Advisory Council and others.
