Kipo takes pictures and videos of sites of interest in and around Las Vistas. She has an increased tolerance for radiation, so she can go into highly radioactive areas that would otherwise be too dangerous. She has a pet squirrel named Nucleus.

In the new Subterranean Las Vistas Scientific Complex, Kipo's parents discovered the DNA sequence that gave the Nuclians their increased radioresistance, and after testing it they decided to infuse it into Kipo so that she could possibly be able to live aboveground safely. To confirm her increased radioresistance, when she was 3 years old, she was given increasing doses of radiation. These tests caused superficial damage which gave her skin an odd color.
