# Kinsmen — Child Safety Standards
**Effective date: 30 July 2026**
Kinsmen is a community-connection app for adults. We maintain a zero-tolerance
policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This
page describes our published standards against CSAE and how we prevent,
detect, report, and act on any such content or behavior, consistent with
Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
## 1. Adults only, by design
Kinsmen is strictly for users aged 18 and over.
- Age is collected at registration and accounts declaring an age under 18
are not permitted.
- Every account must pass a selfie liveness verification before entering the
app, which deters fake and impersonation accounts.
- Our "one face, one account" rule (a unique face-template check) prevents
banned users from re-registering with new phone numbers.
- Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
## 2. Prohibited content and behavior
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate account
termination and, where applicable, reporting to authorities:
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — creating, sharing, requesting, or
linking to it.
- Any sexual or exploitative communication involving or directed at a minor.
- Any attempt to use Kinsmen to contact, groom, solicit, or endanger a minor.
- Misrepresenting age to gain access to the platform.
## 3. In-app reporting
Kinsmen provides an in-app mechanism for users to report safety concerns,
including child safety concerns:
- Users can **block** any user instantly; blocked users cannot make contact
and are not notified.
- Users can **report a safety concern** from within the app; reports go
directly to our safety team's monitored inbox.
- Reports may also be sent any time to the safety contact listed below.
## 4. How we respond to reports
- Child-safety reports are prioritized and reviewed promptly upon receipt.
- Where a report is substantiated, we terminate the account immediately; the
one-face-one-account system prevents the person from returning.
- We preserve relevant records as required by law to support investigations.
## 5. Reporting to authorities
Where we identify or are made aware of CSAM or child sexual exploitation, we
report it to the relevant authorities, including law enforcement and
India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), and we
cooperate with lawful investigations. We comply with all applicable child
safety and mandatory-reporting laws in the regions where Kinsmen operates.
## 6. Point of contact for child safety
Our designated child-safety point of contact is prepared to discuss our CSAE
prevention practices and compliance:
**Email:** arpmatics@gmail.com — subject line "Child Safety"
## 7. Ongoing commitment
We review these standards regularly and strengthen our prevention and
detection measures as the app grows, including expanded moderation and
verification systems in future releases.
