HisKi project includes lists of christenings, marriages, burials and moves. Note! The database does not contain all the parishes in Finland because all the information has not yet been entered into the database.
Year of birth and christened for Kinnunen can in some parishes be found from about 1670-1900. Note: It's also possible to find earlier birth of year by searching buried with 'date of birth' before e.g. 1670 and then calculate the year of birth based on their given age on their 'date-of-death'.

Approximately 3.7 million files containing material from the National Archives' were digitised in 2009 through a designated allowance granted by the Ministry of Education. During the digitising project in 2010 about 5.5 million files was digitised, mainly church records.
In the Digital Archives you can find population and tax registers, maps, etc. Searching the contents of the Digital Archive is performed by free word search. You may search either with proper nouns (e.g., the name of a district) or with common nouns in the Finnish language. It is not necessary to enter full words in the search field. Alternatively you may browse content with the tree view (Finnish only).

Digihakemisto ("digital index") is an experiment to crowdsource the making of indexes for the church records and other documents found in the National Archives. The use of this site does not require any registration, it is open to everybody. Note: the site is not affiliated with the National Archives.

FFHA was founded in 2004. The goal of the association is to provide an online source of archived materials such as communion books, census records etc. for everyone interested in genealogy. Note! Requires membership for certain records and information.
