The KHS Dance Team has both a JV and Varsity level. The teams perform at home football and basketball games, as well as other events (Knight Madness, pep rallies, youth clinics, home football games, etc.) in the fall and spring.

The Varsity team is also a competitive team, which requires some travel on weekends and additional practices to learn & perfect competition material. The team’s season begins in June with preparation for our summer youth dance camp. The team continues to work periodically during the summer months on conditioning and technique, and attends a 4-day dance camp to learn choreography. Practice and performance commitments increase during the winter season and end in mid-March.

The Varsity team annually attends the NDA High School National Championship in Orlando, Florida where we compete in the Pom, Hip Hop, and Game Day categories.
