Our story starts in Ireland with a family connection in the brewery industry. My grandfather worked at the famous Guiness Brewery in St James's Gate as a Foreman Cooper. His sons soon followed all taking different roles as assistant brewers and dray men.

Following my family's footsteps and a passion for real ales with a chance to work from home a brewery had to be born. So it was obvious that Kings Clipstone would be the location and its local history and landmarks would play an important role in its beers and ales.

A redundant out building soon become the Brew House for the brewery.
