The King’s Academy is a performing arts school based in Eastbourne and we are excited to be taking bookings for our new term.
We provide high energy musical theatre classes and workshops for young people and we believe in giving every young person a chance to shine with expertly tailored scripts to suit everyone, performing a different show each term. All of our classes and workshops are facilitated by industry professionals ensuring a high standard of teaching and excellence.
We have a limited number of places at our school which is based locally at Kings Church, Kings Centre, 27 Edison Rd, Eastbourne, BN23 6PT and King’s Academy is open to young people aged from 4 to 16 years of all abilities with no experience necessary. Siblings are welcome and enjoy a half-rate fee.
Performance at King’s Academy is about more than simply learning how to sing, dance and act it’s about empowering young voices through performing arts and building confidence, giving young people skills for life and unleashing creativity.
Tiny Stages (Ages 4–6)
Young children are introduced to the world of performing arts in a 75-minute session, which includes 25 minutes each of singing, dance, and drama. These lively, interactive classes offer a supportive first step into creativity, building confidence and curiosity through fun and structure.
Centre Stages (Ages 6–16)
In this group, students develop their core performance abilities with more focus and depth. Each session is 2.5 hours long, with 50 minutes dedicated to each discipline — singing, dance, and acting — plus breaks and transitions. The structure supports progress in technique, teamwork, and expression, with opportunities to perform throughout the year.
Top Stages (Ages 16+)
Our most advanced group continues with a 2.5-hour class format, also offering 50 minutes of focused training in each discipline. These sessions are designed to challenge and inspire teens to refine their craft, grow in confidence, and explore more advanced material on stage and behind the scenes.
