1. What do I do when I'm absent?

a. When you are absent, it is your responsibility to get caught up by using this website. You'll have to do this during the week your are absent to get full points and not have it be late work. The website is pretty straight forward, so please don't lose points by doing nothing.

2. To get caught up, I highly suggest doing this:

a. Go to the READINGS tab to find online readings that will help you grasp what we learned in class the day of or for the week you were absent. Read thoroughly.

b. Go to the DISCUSSIONS tab, and select the weekly discussion for the week you were absent. Create a nickname with your first name and the first letter of your last name, and Post at least TWO thoughts you had from the online readings you did. Be thorough.

c. Have your at-home grownups Email me at bkinghorn@alpinedistrict.org and notify me that you have done the readings and discussions.

d. If you do the three steps above, then you will continue to receive full credit for your engagement points for that week.

e. Unexcused absences will result in half credit for your engagement points for that week.
