Music has a way of saying the things people can’t.
A way of putting feelings into words when everything else falls short.
In this project I will explore the emotional landscape of
Dr. Melissa "Mel" King and Dr. Frank Langdon
—from HBO’s The Pitt—
both as individuals and as something more when they exist side by side.
I will use song lyrics as a lens to examine who they are, what they mean to each other, and how love, longing, and unspoken understanding can transform when two people finally meet in the same emotional space.

I tend to bend lyrics to fit my perspective but I promise
it will make sense if you’re on my wavelength.
