CLASS SYLLABUS 

 Attendance, promptness, and active participation on a daily basis. Each day you should work to your limits and consider every exercise a performance.

1. No street shoes, food, gum, Air Pods, headphones, cell phones or drinks allowed (water allowed) in the dance space.

2. Be respectful of all instructors, dancers, and guests.

3. All school and class policies will be enforced.

4. Be open to any styles of dance presented and be able to work with any student in class.

5. Come dressed out and prepared to work every day.

6. NEVER USE THE WORD CAN'T!

Dance Attire/Materials Requirement

7th/8th Grade Beginner Dance
Students are allowed to wear ANY school P.E uniform or workout apparel to class. This includes yoga pants, leggings, capri pants, biker shorts, t-shirt, tank tops (no spaghetti straps or tube tops) and basketball shorts. 

• • HAIR: Bun or pony tail only. Short hair can be pulled back with a headband or pinned back.

  • Absolutely no jeans or jeggings of any kind.

Materials:

• • Tan Pirouette Shoes 

  • Bring Chromebook and notebook daily for journals/reflections, class work, tests and notes, folder and writing utensils. (It is extremely important to keep up with all class work).
