Dear Future Client
KING Installers a business venture that has its aim on the Electrical Fence industry, specifically but not limited to issuing Electrical Fence System Certificate of Compliance (EFSCOC) to residential or business premises.
These certificates are required by law as from 2012, when the LAW was passed in South Africa, making it compulsory that any property fitted with an electric fence must be sold accompanied by a EFSCOC.
These EFSCOC Certificates may only be issued by an individual found to be competent by the Directorate: Electrical & Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Labour. The main installer has received his certificate on 29 April 2014 (PLEASE FIND CERTIFICATE BELOW) and was found to be competent.
KING Installers do new installations and our installations will always comply with the South African National Standards Legislation (SANS10222-3:2012). These National Standards are set out by the Department of labour to ensure that electrical fences is NON-LETHAL to intruders but still be a big enough deterrent, to make that intruder not consider your property as a viable target.
There may be many reasons to want to configure your existing fence to become compliant, however, the main and most important reason should always be “that you want a fence to reliably assist you to better protect your family/property/assets”
Note that all companies are required to conform to certain Health and Safety Requirements. One very important requirement is the way that Electrical fences are installed or positioned near Hazardous substances or potential Dangerous situations. Thus the Electrical fence installed, need to comply with the companies Health and Safety requirements and as prescribed by the product being stored.
Example: If a company stores gas procured from i.e. AFROX, it is of the utmost importance that the Electric fence complies with stipulations set out by AFROX, as well as the stipulations of the company requiring an electrical fence.
KING Installers is ready to assist you with any alterations, installations or compliance work that you may require.
Thank you for your consideration
Pieter Marais
