Class placement at KDA is based off the following criteria: technique, experience, commitment level, enthusiasm, behavior in class, work ethic, attendance, and stage presence. We place students in groups that we feel work best together based off these things as well as schedule availability.
King Dance Academy holds the right to place dancers in the classes best fit to the students ability (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). Some classes are competitive level ONLY, therefore recreational dancers will not be placed in those classes.
Solos, duos, and trios are typically discussed with an instructor at the end of the last season. Just because a student is looking to do one of these things does not mean they will be able to. KDA's director and instructors choose the final selection based on schedule availability and the dancers work ethic. These are privileges, students are notguaranteed a solo, duo, or trio.
Please note: solos, duos, and trios are not listed in the schedule below.
