Residential Renovation
Rahway, NJ

While respecting the history of the style and the location, this renovation included the repurposing of existing main level spaces, an expansion on the second floor, and a full attic. The renovation gave the homeowners additional sleeping space, an open living & dining area to entertain, a reconfigured kitchen, and a back covered deck that functions as an outdoor room. The home allows for the evolving (kinetic) change of use throughout the lifespan of the occupants. 

Medical Office Building
Cranford, NJ

Kinetic Architects provided architecture and interior design services for a new, 4,800 sf free-standing medical office building located within a historic residential neighborhood. This project maximizes the property to enhance the patient experience by integrating quality care medical office and exam space with on-site lab facilities. 

Evidence based design research indicates that the incorporation of nature into the patient experience promotes healing and creates a reduced stress environment for both patients and staff. All patient rooms have natural light and views and finish materials were selected to evoke nature.
