Kindred respects your privacy. This app is designed to help you keep in touch with people you care about — and we take your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Your data stays where it belongs — on your device.
We do not send or sync any information to our servers.
We do not store, collect, or access any of your personal data.
We do not share data with third parties, advertisers, analytics providers, or anyone else.
If you choose to use the iCloud sync feature, your data is still not shared with us.
Everything you enter into the app — including contact names, photos, custom notes, reminders, and interaction logs — is stored locally on your device.
Contacts: Only the people you add manually or choose to import are stored. The full contact list from your device is not accessed or uploaded.
Photos: Any profile pictures are stored solely on your device.
Notifications: Reminder notifications are generated by your device’s local system. No notification data is sent or stored externally.
Special Events: Birthdays, anniversaries, and custom reminders are saved locally for your own reference.
There’s no sign-up, no login, and no account. We don't use analytics. We don’t know who you are — and we like it that way.
To function properly, the app may request access to:
Contacts (optional): If you choose to import existing contacts.
Photos (optional): If you choose to add a contact photo.
Notifications: To remind you when someone is due for contact.
These permissions are used solely to enhance your local experience and are never used to collect or transmit data.
If you uninstall the app, all your saved data is deleted with it. We do not retain any backup or copy of your data. You can export your data if you wish. Some data is can be saved using iCloud Sync, but only if you enable that.
