Kindred Homeschool Collective

(a 501(c)(3) organization) is a Christian, inclusive community that honors the history, experiences, 

and traditions unique to Black and Brown peoples. 

We provide academic and enrichment classes for homeschooling families in Hampton Roads, VA. 

For our KINDRED families, we are the go-to for homeschool advice, 

support & encouragement, resources, connections, and community. 

KINDRED Homeschool Collective is a Christian and inclusive community.  It is therefore our intention that the co-op reflect a love for God and a love for neighbor.  We recognize that there are people for whom the term “Christian” is a loaded one that carries connotations of exclusion and pain.  However, for us as believers in Christ, we affirm the imago dei (image of God) inherent in every person.  Our instructional and curriculum choices reflect this firmly held belief. While we uphold the truths of the Christian faith, we do not accept any doctrine or teaching that abuses, degrades, or encourages hate against any ethnicity or people of diverse backgrounds.  We aim to follow the example of Jesus in demonstrating love to all.
